How to Use

Equipment needed: Spade, rake, lawn spreader or roller (optional)

• Step 1 — Preparation: Clear the area of any plants, debris, and weeds. Dig over the soil to a depth of approximately 15cm. Break down any lumps and firm the soil by treading. Level and create a fine, firm seedbed. If the soil is dry, water thoroughly the day before sowing.
• Step 2 — Application (New Lawn): Apply at 35g per m². Turn the bag over a few times to mix. Apply lawn seed by hand or spreader at the correct rate. Lightly rake into soil.
• Step 2 — Application (Overseeding): Remove weeds and any debris. Mow the lawn closely and remove clippings. Rake or scarify to create a fine tilth. Apply at 24g per m². If the soil is dry, water thoroughly the day before sowing.
• Step 3 — Aftercare: Keep soil surface moist for the first couple of weeks until grass seed has germinated — use a hose pipe, sprinkler, or fine-head watering can. Mow for the first time when grass reaches approximately 5cm. Do not remove more than one-third of the grass blade in any single cut. Re-apply in autumn to maintain lawn density and coverage.
