Digg Cafe Trowell

The Digg Café Opening November 2014

It’s official, the new Digg Café at Trowell Garden Centre is now open!

A great celebration was enjoyed with owners and directors Barbara and David Henshaw on Saturday 1st November as they both cut the traditional ribbon in-front of a special team! Some very gracious words of thanks and appreciation from David Henshaw to all the people, the builder Mark Lambert (in the checked shirt), the carpenters, counter makers, electricians, window makers, Bi-fold door makers. Etc etc who all contributed so skilfully and stylishly to the development!

Man of the match went to Architect and project manager Robert Oxley, standing proud in his green jacket! Flowers and a magnum of champagne were presented to David & Barbara by a very proud retail operations manager Tania Simpson.

The Digg team were all wished every success with the new café! Customers enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine with lunch as our young Harpist, Liana Turner completed a very memorable, historical and magical day!

Congratulations to Liana Turner who graced us with her Digg debut performance playing her Harp on our Saturday official Opening!

We look forward to hearing more of her truly magical sounds as she returns every Wednesday 2.30pm – 4.30pm. At 16, Liana a harpist has achieved grade 8 already. Come and enjoy her playing here in the new 260-seater Digg café….a true treasure found!
