Unwins Carrot Flyaway F1 Seeds
The Flyaway F1 Carrot Seeds by Unwins are a variety that grow into delicious carrots with Nantes style roots that are sweet and tasty. Any gardener will know the dreaded feeling of pulling out your carrots to discover the damage done by those horrible carrot flies. With the great Flyaway F1 variety, these carrots are less susceptible to this damage, so you can look forward to unveiling your carrots rather than wincing at the thought!
Sow Date: Apr - June
Harvest/Flower Date: Aug - Nov
Sowing Outdoors: Sow seed thinly in pre-watered shallow rows, and cover with a little soil. Allow about 25cm (10in) between rows. As seedlings develop, thin them initially to about 2cm (1in) apart. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established.

At Trowell Garden Centre we pride ourselves on getting your purchases to you as quickly as possible.
To avoid disappointment, the last day to purchase is 18th December for delivery before Christmas day.
Any orders after this date are not guaranteed to reach you (or your loved ones).
We have extended our online returns policy for Christmas. Any items purchased in December 2024 can be returned up to January 31st 2025.
