Unwins Aubergine Patio Mix Seeds
The fantastic Unwins Aubergine Patio Mix Seeds are every gardeners dream. With little room to spare in a gardening patch, these aubergines of 'Brilliant' 'Pinstripe' and 'Ivory' variaties (and others) are all suited for container growing and bear a great range of shapes and markings. This F1 hybrid variety also ensure a strong and disease resistant batch of juicy tasty aubergines!
Indoor Sow Date - Feb-Apr
Harvest/Flowering Date - July-Oct
How to -
Fill a 6-9cm pot or cell tray with seed compost. Overfill the pot or cell trays and strike excess soil off.
Water soil from underneath by placing the tray in a container of water, letting the soil absorb the water from underneath - remove after 2-5 mins.
Press the seed into individual cells or pots the soil to a depth of about 2cm and cover the seeds with more of the seed-compost.
Water above with a watering cam and add fungicide to the first watering to guard against damping off. Label and date the seeds and place in a cool light place.
Pot up in gradually larger containers as the young seedling grows and develops true leaves.
