Tulip Tinka Bulbs
Tulip Tinka is a compact spring tulip with vivid red outer petals edged in yellow. As the flowers open, they show buttery yellow inner petals with dark purple stamens, giving beds, borders and containers a bright early season display from April to May.
Growing to around 25cm tall, Tinka is useful for pots, rock gardens, gravel areas, walkway edges and the front of spring borders. It also works well as underplanting around shrubs, where the low flowers can bring colour before taller planting fills out.
Plant from September to December in well drained soil, in full sun. This fully hardy tulip has received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit for reliable garden performance.
