Crocus Etruscus Zwanenburg Bulbs

Crocus Etruscus Zwanenburg is an early flowering crocus with lilac purple petals and bright orange stamens. The flowers appear from February to March, giving pots, borders and rockeries colour before many larger crocus varieties have started.

This compact variety grows to around 8cm tall and is well suited to containers, border edges, rockeries and underplanting around trees and shrubs. It also naturalises well, so the bulbs can return in future years when planted in a suitable spot and left undisturbed.

Plant from August to November in moist but well drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. Etruscus Zwanenburg has received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit for reliable garden performance.
