Allium Miami Bulbs
Allium Miami is a tall allium with reddish purple, two tone flower heads carried on slender stems. The star shaped flowers form a tight rounded cluster, adding colour and structure to borders, containers and mixed perennial planting from May to June.
Growing to around 100cm tall, this variety is useful through the middle or back of a border where it can rise above lower planting. It also works well in patio containers, along paths, near doorways or planted in generous drifts among grasses, shrubs and perennials.
Plant from August to November in moist but well drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. The flowers are attractive to bees and other pollinators, and the stems can be cut fresh or dried for indoor arrangements.
