Narcissus Lobularis Wild Daffodil Bulbs
Narcissus Lobularis, also known as the Wild Daffodil or Lent Lily, is a traditional spring daffodil with soft yellow to cream petals and a warm central trumpet. The flowers appear from March to April, bringing a natural cottage garden look to lawns, woodland areas, borders and containers.
Growing to around 25cm tall, this fully hardy daffodil is a good choice for naturalising. Once settled, the bulbs can return in future years and gradually build into larger spring displays when left undisturbed.
Plant from September to November in moderately fertile, well drained soil. Narcissus Lobularis will grow in full sun or partial shade, making it suitable for open lawns, shrub underplanting, rose underplanting and lighter woodland style areas.
