Tulip Kansas Proud Bulbs
Tulip Kansas Proud is a tall spring tulip with deep purple flowers and a distinctive white base. The colour contrast gives the blooms a sharp, clean finish, especially when planted in groups through beds, borders or larger containers.
Flowering from April to May, Kansas Proud grows to around 50cm tall on sturdy upright stems. It works well with darker purple tulips such as Queen of Night, or planted on its own where the white base can stand out against the rich petals.
Plant from September to December in moist but well drained soil, in a sunny position. This 7 pack is a good choice for gravel gardens, spring borders and patio containers.
