Tulip Cretica Hilde Bulbs
Tulip Cretica Hilde is a compact spring tulip with pale pink star shaped flowers, purple pink streaking and a bright yellow throat. Each stem can produce up to three small flowers, giving low growing colour in March.
Growing to around 15cm tall, Hilde is useful for pots, containers, rock gardens, pathway edges and the front of flower beds. Its smaller size also makes it a good choice for neat spring planting where taller tulips would feel too large.
Plant from September to December in well drained soil, ideally with a gritty texture, in full sun. This fully hardy tulip can return in future years when planted in a suitable spot and left to die back naturally after flowering.
