Narcissus Golden Bells Hoop Petticoat Daffodil Bulbs
Narcissus Golden Bells is a hoop petticoat daffodil with butter yellow, cone shaped flowers held on sturdy green stems. Each bulb can produce up to 15 flowers, giving a bright early spring display from March to April.
Growing to around 20cm tall, this low daffodil works well in alpine beds, sunny border fronts, patio pots and terraces. It can also be planted through lawns, in bold drifts, or in woodland style areas where the yellow flowers can stand out against softer planting.
Plant from August to November in soil with good drainage, in full sun or partial shade. Space the bulbs around 10cm apart and plant them around 5cm deep, either in neat rows or clustered together for stronger patches of colour.
