Tulip Purple Crystal Bulbs
Tulip Purple Crystal is a fully hardy tulip with dark plum purple flowers and a finely frilled edge. Each bloom has a touch of white around the base, giving the flowers a crisp contrast against the deep purple petals.
Flowering from April to May, this variety grows to around 50cm tall on upright stems. It works well in beds, borders, pots and containers, especially when planted in groups where the frilled edges and darker colouring can be seen together.
Plant from September to December in moist but well drained soil. Purple Crystal will grow in full sun or partial shade, with a sheltered position helping the flowers stay looking their best for longer.
