Tulip Tarafa Bulbs
Tulip Tarafa is a compact tulip with bold red and yellow two tone flowers on short, sturdy stems. It flowers from April to May and brings strong colour to smaller spring planting areas without taking up much space.
Growing to around 25cm tall, Tarafa is well suited to the front of borders, patio containers, edging around lawns and underplanting near trees or shrubs. The shorter stems also make it a practical choice for more exposed spots, as long as the position is sunny and sheltered from harsh winds.
Plant from September to December in moist but well drained soil, in full sun. Space the bulbs around 10cm apart and plant them around 10cm deep for a neat spring display.
