Frequently Asked Questions

Does this water feature work on cloudy days?
The pump operates in direct sunlight, so flow will reduce or stop on heavily overcast days. Positioning the remote solar panel in the brightest available spot will maximise performance. On partly cloudy days, the pump will cycle on and off as sunlight comes and goes.

Do I need to connect it to a mains water supply?
No. The Omega Cascade recirculates water from its own built-in base reservoir. Simply fill with water and the pump does the rest. You will need to top up occasionally as water evaporates, especially in warm weather.

Is this water feature frost-resistant?
Polyresin is more resilient than ceramic or terracotta, but for best results we recommend draining the water and storing the feature in a sheltered spot (such as a garage or shed) over winter to prevent frost damage to the pump and reservoir.

How heavy is it — can I move it easily?
At 11 kg empty, the Omega Cascade is heavier than smaller tabletop features but still manageable for one person to lift and reposition. Once filled with water it will be heavier, so choose your spot before filling.

Can I use this indoors?
