Tulip Simply Irresistible is a 25 pack of autumn planting tulip bulbs with a rich maroon and white colour mix. Some flowers open in deep maroon tones, while others are white with a fine maroon edge, giving the display a smart contrast without feeling too busy.
Plant the bulbs from September to December in moist but well drained soil, in a bright sunny spot. They flower from April to May and grow to around 45cm tall, making them a good choice for pots, beds, borders and rockeries.
These tulips look best when planted in clusters, where the darker and lighter flowers can sit together for a stronger spring display. They are also suitable for cutting, so a few stems can be brought indoors once the flowers open.
