Crocus Orange Monarch Bulbs

Crocus Orange Monarch is a compact spring flowering crocus with bright orange flowers and dark markings on the outside of the petals. The fine line detail gives the blooms a distinctive look, especially when planted in groups through borders, pots or window boxes.

The flowers appear from February to March and grow to around 10cm tall. This variety is pollinator friendly and belongs to the RHS Plants for Pollinators collection, making it useful for early season colour and visiting insects.

Plant from July to October in moist but well drained soil. Orange Monarch crocus bulbs can be planted in full sun or partial shade, with partial shade helping the flowers last a little longer. They are also suitable for naturalising in lawns, verges and informal ground cover planting.
