Crocus Dorothy Bulbs

Crocus Dorothy is an early flowering crocus with bright yellow goblet shaped blooms and fresh green foliage. The flowers appear from February to March, giving the garden a clear lift of colour while many plants are still dormant.

This compact crocus grows to around 6cm tall with a spread of around 5cm. It works well in pots, containers, borders, rockeries, grass areas and under large trees, especially when planted in groups where the yellow flowers can form natural looking drifts.

Plant from September to December in full sun, in soil with good drainage. Once naturalised, Crocus Dorothy can return year after year. If planted in grass, leave the foliage to die back before mowing so the bulbs can build strength for the following season.
