Crocus Cream Beauty is an early spring crocus with soft buttery yellow flowers and dark green foliage. The flowers appear from February to March, giving low colour to pots, borders, rockeries and grass areas when the garden still feels bare.
This compact variety grows to around 10cm tall with a spread of around 5cm. It naturalises well, so it can be used in lawns, under large trees or through informal planting where the flowers can return in future years.
Cream Beauty is pollinator friendly and has received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit. Plant from September to December in full sun or partial shade, in soil that drains well.
