Scilla Siberica Bulbs
Scilla Siberica, also known as Siberian Squill, is an early spring bulb with nodding blue bell shaped flowers. The flowers appear from March to April above slim strap shaped leaves, giving clear colour to lawns, border fronts, rockeries and shaded garden areas.
This compact variety grows to around 15cm tall and is well suited to naturalising. It works particularly well beneath deciduous trees and shrubs, where the bulbs can settle in and return in future years.
Scilla Siberica has received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit and is hardy across the UK. Plant from August to November in well drained soil, in full sun or partial shade, around 5cm deep and 8cm apart.
