Muscari Latifolium Bulbs
Muscari Latifolium is a striking grape hyacinth with two toned flower spikes in dark purple black and light blue. The darker lower flowers sit beneath paler blue flowers at the top, giving the plant a layered colour effect in early spring.
This compact bulb grows to around 15cm tall and flowers from March to April. It works well in beds, borders, containers, rock gardens, around shrubs and beneath deciduous trees, especially when planted in groups for a stronger drift of colour.
Muscari Latifolium is scented, pollinator friendly and reliable in the garden. It has received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit and was named UK Bulb of the Year in 2006.
