Galanthus Elwesii Snowdrop Bulbs
Galanthus Elwesii is a larger flowering snowdrop, bringing white blooms to the garden while much of the border is still quiet. The flowers appear from February to March above neat green stems and silvery green foliage, giving early interest at the end of winter.
This 20 pack is well suited to planting in drifts through lawns, in clusters at the front of borders, or in containers where the early flowers can be seen up close. Once established, they can naturalise and return each year, gradually creating a fuller spring display.
Plant from August to November in moist but well drained soil, in partial shade. This variety has received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit and is a hardy choice for UK gardens.
