Create a classic focal point in your garden with the Panacea Round Top Arch. This strong, sturdy 2.4 metre steel arch is a firm favourite for first-time gardeners and seasoned growers alike. Its generous height and width frame a path, gateway or patio beautifully, while giving climbing plants such as roses, clematis, honeysuckle and sweet peas the support they need to thrive season after season.
Designed for year-round outdoor use, the arch arrives fully galvanised and powder-coated black for lasting rust resistance. A full set of mounting plates and heavy-duty ground stakes is included, making the arch suitable for both hard and soft surfaces. No tools are required for assembly, and the compact flat-pack design is convenient to transport home in the car.
Position the arch over a path, entrance, between beds, or as a standalone feature on a lawn. Use ground stakes to anchor it into soft soil, or the mounting plates to fix it to a patio, decking, or concrete base. For climbing plants, plant 30 to 60 cm either side of the arch and train stems upwards using soft twine.
Made from galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish for year-round weather resistance.
How tall is the Panacea Round Top Arch?
The arch stands 2.4 metres tall at the top of the curve, with a 1 metre walking width and a 36 cm post depth - ideal for clearing head height and supporting mature climbers.
Does this arch need tools to build?
No tools are required. The arch slots together by hand using the fixings supplied, so you can have it built and planted up in well under an hour.
Can the arch be fixed to a patio?
Yes. The included mounting plates allow the arch to be bolted to hard surfaces such as paving, decking or concrete as well as anchored with ground stakes into soft soil.
Will the arch rust outside?
No. The steel is fully galvanised before the black powder-coated finish is applied, giving long-lasting resistance to rust and weathering through the seasons.
What plants can I grow up the arch?
Almost any climbing or rambling plant works well, including roses, clematis, honeysuckle, jasmine, wisteria and sweet peas. Plant 30 to 60 cm either side and tie in new growth with soft twine.
