Growing Success Plum Maggot Monitoring Trap Single
The trap uses a pheromone bait to entice the Plum Fruit Moth into the trap, preventing them from laying eggs on the trees which hatch into caterpillars that feed on the fruit during summer. In addition, this trap and bait will help monitor infestations on Damson and Greengage Trees.
The monitoring trap lets you assess any potential problems and treat them with an insecticide if required. If you discover more than 12 months in your trap over a week, then this is a clear sign of infestation.
One trap will effectively monitor up to three trees, located within 12 meters of each other, for up to six weeks.
