Description

Growing Success Apple Maggot Monitoring Trap Refill

A pheromone baited trap for attracting the Codling Moth, the leading cause of maggot damage to Apple and Pear Trees and their fruit.

The pheromones attract the moths to the trap and contain them inside before eggs are laid if used from May to July.  If you find 12 months or more in a week, it indicates infestation allowing you to treat the infestation further if you wish.

This refill replaces the sticky insert monitoring lure, refreshing the bait and allowing reuse many times.  One trap and insert will effectively monitor a group of up to 5 trees for up to 6 weeks.
