The Fruit Tree Grease contains rapeseed oil and provides a total barrier when applied completely around the base of the tree trunk. It prevents wingless female Winter Moths, Mottled Umber Moths, and March Moths from climbing the trees and attacking the trunk.
Once stuck in the sticky oil, you can monitor the number of trapped moths on the tree, providing an indication of any infestation levels, and allowing you to treat other trees or take further action if needed.
Apply with a brush in October and again in February to protect Fruit and other trees from damaging infestations. Replenish as needed to maintain stickiness.
