Unwins Carrot Early Scarlet Horn Seeds
Great for those looking for an early crop, the Early Scarlet Horn Carrot Seeds by Unwins are a variety that grow into delicious, stumpy and short carrots. Perfect for those places where plants with longer roots just can't grow, this variety thrives, with the shorter roots and early harvesting making these carrots a reliable grow.
Sow Date: Feb - June
Harvest/Flower Date: May - Sep
Sowing Outdoors: Sow seed thinly in pre-watered shallow rows, and cover with a little soil. Allow about 25cm (10in) between rows. As seedlings develop, thin them initially to about 2cm (1in) apart. Keep soil moist until seedlings are established.
