Seed Potatoes - 'Majestic'
These versatile potatoes are a staple for any gardener. The Majestic potatoes can not only be boiled, baked and mashed, but they can be chipped and roasted too, making them a great option for families or keen chefs. With a mild flavour, storing well and growing in many soil types, this potato type is the one to get.
- Floury white flesh
- Aromatic flavour
- Position: sun-partial shade
- Soil: fertile, well drained
- Rate of growth: fast-growing
- Harvesting period: July onwards (colder seasons)
- Hardiness: protect tubers from frost
