Tulip Ice Cream Bulbs
Tulip Ice Cream is a compact double tulip with pink outer petals and a white centre. The flower has an unusual layered shape, giving pots, borders and spring containers a more distinctive look from April to May.
Growing to around 25cm tall, this variety is useful for smaller spaces, container displays and the front of borders. It can also be planted as part of a layered bulb container with crocus, daffodils and other spring bulbs.
Plant from September to December in well drained soil, in full sun. Remove faded flower heads after blooming, but leave the foliage to die back naturally so the bulbs can store energy.
