Tulip Cape Cod Bulbs
Tulip Cape Cod is a compact naturalising tulip with warm apricot orange petals, red tones and a fine yellow edge. The flowers can open to around 10cm across, giving strong colour from March to April.
Growing to around 20cm tall, Cape Cod is useful for pots, containers and smaller border displays. The grey green foliage is streaked with purple, adding interest before the flowers fully open.
Plant from September to December in moist but well drained soil, in a sunny position sheltered from strong winds. Space the bulbs around 10cm apart and plant them around 10cm deep. Remove faded flowers after blooming and allow the foliage to die back naturally.
